How can I sign up for Alpha?
Go to our website and click the Sign up for the Alpha button.
Can I use my old Halloween key for the Christmas Alpha?
No. You’ll have to get a new Steam key from your e-mail and follow the installation guide.
How’s Christmas Alpha going to work?
Starting from December 19th, 2018 to January 6th, 2019 the servers will be working and every Alpha tester who signed up will have an opportunity to play the Secret Neighbor’s Alpha Test.
What should I do if I didn’t receive a key in my e-mail? Due to high demand and limited availability of our servers, we will send the keys in batches during this Alpha. We will do our best, but we can’t guarantee that you will receive your key in the first few days of Alpha Test. Please bear with us and be patient ;)
Why did certain members receive their keys and the others didn’t?
The keys are being given out on a random basis. If you haven’t received your key yet, don’t be discouraged, you’ll definitely receive it later.
When is Christmas Alpha gonna be active?
Christmas alpha test is going to start on December 19th, 2018 to January 6th, 2019.
How long is the game gonna be in alpha status?
The game needs to be finished and it will stay in Alpha status for some time. However, we will definitely announce it to all of you when it’s gonna come out on our website secretneighbor.com, as well as on our official Discord server: https://discord.gg/secretneighbor
Why is the game not working in between different Alphas?
The developers are making serious changes to the game code while the game is not active and it makes the game unstable. So we have to temporarily turn off our servers between Alphas.

How can I play Secret Neighbor?
SN is a multiplayer game. You need at least 4 players to start a game. However, you’ll get much better gameplay if you will have 6 players in the match.
What should I do if I’m a Neighbor in the game?
You gotta catch the kids and you shouldn’t let them open the door to the basement.
What should I do if I’m playing as a kid?
You have to run away from the Neighbor, as well as find the keys and open the door to the basement.
How can I find friends to play Secret Neighbor?
You can always find other players to play with by choosing Quick Game option. Besides that, you can talk with other players on our official Discord server and play with them in Custom Games.
How can I play SN with my friends in a separate lobby?
You have to choose to Create Custom Game option for this.
